Give "Hercules" this much: It knows what it is.. Johnson was born for this kind of kick-butt-with-a-smirk role. In one scene, he appears to throw a charging horse over his shoulder, and it somehow doesn't look hokey.. The excellent performances by the cast are also what raise this movie well above your ordinary action movie.. A movie can have a superb story, amazing cinematography, and mesmerizing writing as well as directing, but without the talent to deliver it all, it finds itself lacking. Gr...
